Temperature Controls ...........................................
Your refrigerator has Maytag's Dual Cool TM freshness design to control fresh and frozen food temperatures. The con-
trols are located at the top front of the fresh food compartment.
To adjust the controls, move the slide to the left or right as desired.
Initial Dual Cool" Control Settings Adjusting the Dual CooF Controls
The refrigerator control has settings from 1 (warmest) 24 hours after adding food, you may decide that one
to 9 (coldest). Initially set this control on 5. or both compartments should be colder or warmer. If
so, adjust the control(s) as indicated in the table
The freezer control has settings from 1 (warmest) to

Turn refrigerator Off Slide the freezer control to OFF.
NOTE: Sliding the freezer control to OFF stops cooling in BOTH compartments. It does not shut off
power to the refrigerator.
