HOWTO SET OVEN TO BROIL

1. PressBROILpad. BROIL _' _

2. Pressthe • padto selectHI (high) broilor the • pad _ ._-- Ht

to select LO (low)broil.

• SelectHI broil for normalbroiling.

• Select LO broilfor low temperaturebroiling of _ LO

longercookingfoods such as poultry.

3. There will be a 4 second delay before the oventurns I_Oven

on. When the oventurns on: i_]Preheat'-'

• The OVEN ON indicatorwilllight. [__.JLock

4. For optimumbrowning,preheat broilelementfor 3 to NOTE; Expectbroiltimes to increaseand

4 minutes beforeadding food. browningto be slightlylighter if appliance is

installedon a 208 volt circuit.

5. Placefood in the oven. Leave ovendoor opened to NOTE;See page 28 for broiling instructionsand

the broil stop position(openedabout4-inches). broilingchart.

6. Turnmeat once about halfway through cooking.

7. PressCANCEL pad. Removefood and broiler pan

from the oven. _ _
